Bridge the Gap to
Your Ideal Life
Feeling stuck in your life or career and not sure where to begin? Maybe things are going fine, but you’re moving through life on autopilot—making decisions without real intention. Or maybe you simply want to understand yourself better, so you can express who you are and connect more deeply with others.
If any of that resonates, this first-ever, four-hour online intensive is for you. Led by acclaimed NYU Stern School of Business professor Dr. Suzy Welch, it’s a powerful day of self-discovery, clarity, and intentional life planning.
Values Day: The ONLINE Becoming You Experience
How close (or far away) am I from living my ideal life?
August 2, 2025 | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM ET | Live on Zoom
This exclusive, enrollment-limited, one-day online program, sponsored by the NYU Stern Initiative on Purpose and Flourishing, is here to help you close the gap between the life you’re living and the life you want, by focusing on values discovery. Values are not just preferences or opinions, nor are they virtues or personality traits. They are deeper than that. They help you answer questions like:
→ What does my ideal life actually look like?
→ How close (or far away) am I from that ideal life?
→ Should I pivot in my career—and if so, to what?
→ How can I explain my life choices to the people closest to me?
This isn’t a lecture. It’s not a webinar you can half-watch while folding laundry. It’s a live, interactive, values-finding sprint designed to meet you exactly where you are—whether you’re 22 or 72, on your first career pivot or your fifth. Come ready to reflect, engage, and discover what matters most to you.
What Suzy has created is profound and inspiring, and honestly, she makes something very complex seem so simple if we're willing to get existential. I know so many people will benefit from this brilliant method.

What does the session include?
August 2, 2025 | 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM ET | Live on Zoom
→ The Values Bridge: A data-based, research-driven assessment grounded in the Welch-Bristol Values Inventory. It doesn’t just identify your values—it measures the distance between the life you’re living and the life you want to build.
→ Whose Life Do You Want?: “If I had to trade lives with someone, who would make the cut?” This exercise allows you to let loose and be as real as possible.
→ Six Squared: A tool for excavating your values, where you’re not simply capturing your life as it is or has been. You are reaching toward the life you would live if your values were fully expressed.
→ Alpha Omega: In this exercise, you’ll reflect across the full arc of your life—who you hope to become, how you want to live, and what you wish to leave behind. These questions are meant to open a window into the deeper values that shape your identity, your decisions, and your sense of purpose.
